You are just a short trip to Thamesford, Ingersoll and Woodstock, and just a bit further from Stratford and London. We have shared some of our favourite places to visit in the area below! Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese, Woodstock
Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese is a small artisan cheese plant nestled within the rolling hills of Gunn's Hill Rd., in Oxford County, Ontario. Visitors are welcome to visit Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese to experience the unique area, learn about dairy farming and local agriculture, take a tour (must be booked ahead of time) and most importantly, simply enjoy wonderfully delicious cheeses.
Upper Thames Brewing Company, Woodstock
Upper Thames Brewing Company is the first craft brewery in Woodstock and Oxford County. They produce high quality, small batch beer in-house. Visit them for a pint in their patio area or their beautiful open concept taproom with a full view of the brewhouse. Check out their Brockhouse Brewpub location as well!
Leaping Deer Adventure Farm & Market, Ingersoll
Spend an afternoon at Leaping Deer Adventure Farm and Market venturing through the historical John Deere museum and exploring the Country Store. From the first weekend in August through October, enjoy they Seasonal Corn Maze & Outdoor Activities. While journeying through the maze, search for the hidden treasures that Farmer Budd has planted within the corn! Admission into the corn maze also includes entrance for the aviary, llama and animal sheds, wagon rides, mini-golf course, straw splash slide, giant digger sandbox, John Deere pedal cars, high striker, Corn Cob Express, duck races, Agricultural Awareness Centre, and Leaping Deer Trail.

Inventory rotation offers you fresh Ethically Traded Tea. They partner with local food producers when possible to create unique & simply delicious chocolates, where small batches keep things fresh.
Jakeman's Maple Farm, Beachville
Visit their gift shop to pick up a truly Canadian gift - maple goodies. Maple is naturally sweet, high in anti-oxidants & possibly the next new Super Food! If you're visiting in March, enjoy a 4-H Pancake Breakfast. All year-round, check out their maple cream cookies, maple ice-wine syrup, maple sugar, maple candies, maple tea and coffee.
Wildwood Conservation Area, St. Mary's
Wildwood Conservation Area is a 3,500 acre outdoor playground, located in the Northern part of Oxford County, where you can enjoy camping, hiking, mountain biking, birding, boating, swimming, and so much more! Home to a 25 km lake trail, Wildwood offers multipurpose trails that can be used by both hikers and cyclists.
